1. How to Create a Script

• To start writing, click the Document Icon in the top-left corner.
• Enter a title and type your speech or broadcast script. Use the formatting menu at the top to customize your script style.
• You can instantly complete your script by copying and pasting materials from other sources.
• Click the Gear (Settings) Icon in the top right to adjust font size, line spacing, and paragraph width.

2. How to Operate the Prompter

• Click the "Prompting" icon in the top right to switch from the editor to the prompting screen.
• The script will initially be paused. To begin, press the Space Bar or Left-click the mouse.
• Navigation Shortcuts:
  • Home key: Jump to the very beginning of the script.
  • End key: Jump to the very end of the script.
  • Alt + 1 through Alt + 9: Jump to specific points in the script by 10% increments (e.g., Alt + 1 moves to the 10% mark).
  • Esc key: Exit full screen. Pressing Esc again will return you to the Script Edit window.

3. Window Navigation Shortcuts

Use these shortcuts to switch between screens quickly and efficiently:

• Go to Prompting Window: Alt + P
• Go to Script Edit Window: Alt + E
• Go to Script File List: Alt + F
• Go to Settings: Alt + S

4. Time Display Shortcuts

Display a clock or timer on the prompter screen to help the speaker and operator manage time effectively.

• Display Elapsed Speech Time: Alt + T
• Display Remaining Speech Time: Alt + C

5. Emergency Alerts

The operator can send pre-defined alert messages to the speaker during a broadcast or speech for urgent communication. The Alarm function is located at the bottom of the Document File window.
